Sign Language Interpreting
For students who are Deaf or hard of hearing and enrolled in the Office of Special Services, OSS provides American Sign Language Interpreters during classroom instruction, tutoring, and counseling appointments. Sign Language or real-time captioning services (when authorized) must be pre-approved by OSS each semester by your OSS Counselor. Any requests for Interpreter services outside of the classroom must be approved by the Dean of Special Programs.
Students are encouraged to provide a recent copy of their audiogram.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Senior Sign Language Interpreter, Alfredo Quispe by email at @email or contact your OSS Counselor.
