Race, Equity and Social Justice Center
Our primary focus is to improve racial equity and social injustices by implementing programs and initiatives in four main areas: 1) Instruction, 2) HR policies, 3) budgets and 4) all student services. Specifically, the initiative will challenge the systemic barriers to opportunity and dignity that exists for all disenfranchised and unrepresented groups.
Understanding the Center
The Race, Equity and Social Justice Center will be a safe and brave space where students, faculty, staff, and community members can seek racial equity, inclusiveness, and social justice in an environment that embraces all communities and perspectives.
The Center will serve as the operational space where the center’s programing and initiatives will be designed and implemented.
