Emergency Notifications

Students:

Students are automatically registered to receive emergency notifications. You can add/edit your information, as well as emergency contacts by logging into your student portal and updating the information on your profile.

Employees:

Employees are automatically registered to receive emergency notifications. You can add/edit your information, as well as emergency contacts by logging into your employee portal and updating the information on your profile.

Guests/non-LACCD employees/students:

LACCD Safety and Security Services has created a NIXLE link that is tied into the Campus Emergency Alert System. To sign up, follow the instructions below.

From a mobile device, text 888777 and enter the appropriate campus keyword. Nixle will respond to confirm you are properly enrolled. You will then be given the option to reply with your email to also receive email alerts.
Opting out: Your mobile device will automatically opt out of the LACCD Alert system after a three (3) month period. You will receive an automatic text reminder to renew.
