RESJ Initiatives and Programming

The RESJ Center initiatives and programing will focus on improving racial equity and social justice by implementing programing and initiatives, focusing on four main goals during the 2021-2022 fiscal year:

Goal 1: Review curriculum to ensure there is evidence of equity and inclusion best practices.

Goal 2: Provide intentional professional development, mentoring, and training on racial equity and inclusion to help faculty and staff heal and understand the benefits of equity and inclusion.

Goal 3: Work collaboratively with shared governance groups and instructional effectiveness to ensure campus operations is grounded in equity and inclusion.

Goal 4: Promote student empowerment with intentional activism and advocacy by uplifting the students’ campus and classroom experience.
