Our Guardian Scholars Program provides comprehensive services and supports foster youth and former foster youth to maximize educational opportunities and pursue undergraduate degrees.

Since 2009, LACC Guardian Scholars Program has helped students like the amazing graduates in the photo you see above (clockwise from upper left: Maggie, Franklin, Leslie, Lami, Clara, Wendy, and Jacob).

Guardian Scholars Program services include academic advising, personal and life skills training and support, assistance with financial and housing matters, career counseling and post-graduation preparation, as well as mentoring and leadership opportunities.
