What is the RGCDT

The RGCDT is the first step in becoming a Certified Dental Technologist as granted by the National Board of Certification in Dental Laboratory Prosthetic Technology. The exam is a general knowledge exam encompassing all areas of dental technology. Graduates sit for the RGCDT upon completion of their 2 year Dental Prosthetic Technology Program.

LACC Dental Prosthetic Technology graduates placed 1^st nationally in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014,2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 among the schools participating in the Recognized Graduate (RG) portion of the Certified Dental Technologist (CDT) Exam given by the National Board for Certification in Dental Prosthetic Technology (RGCDT).

The LACCDT graduates Average Score is 80.56%, while National Average is 71.88%.
