This 2 - 3 year vocational training program prepares students for work in all aspects of:
Technical production, including:
- Carpenter
- Props
- Electrician
- Scenic painter
- Light & sound board operator
- Stage manager

The CalArts School of Theater BFA Experience Design & Production programs at CalArts. CalArts will give priority consideration to applicants who have completed the LACC Technical Theater AA. The pathway does not guarantee admission to CalArts.
Students also receive training in:
- SOUND DESIGN
Advanced students may be invited back for a third year to work as an Assistant Designer, design their own show, work as Lead Scenic Artist, or receive advanced training as a Stage Manager.
