Behavioral Health Services
We recommend avoid seeing more than one therapist at a time to avoid conflicting therapy. Students at LACC may receive Behavioral Health Services in-person at the Health & Wellness Center, or Online by scheduling an appointment with a therapist from our center, or by downloading the TimelyCare app.
JWCH Wesley Health Centers actively collaborates with LACC to offer all student access to integrative Behavioral Health services such as mental health, case management, substance abuse counseling, and primary care services. Our Behavioral Health department focuses on mental health wellness in order to help students attain educational goals and academic success. We provide a range of high-quality mental health services including: initial evaluations, brief oriented therapy, psychiatric services, and same day crisis interventions. Our Behavioral Health services offer remote sessions and in-person options that are confidential and HIPPA compliant.
JWCH Wesley Health Centers, Behavioral Health team is comprised of professionally trained and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Psychiatrists, and Mental Health staff from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Our staff is experienced in working with a varying range of collegiate mental health concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, academic performance concerns, family and relationship issues, identity inclusion (e.g., cultural, LGBTQIA+, religious,) and trauma.

All LACC students have access for FREE To these services, including:
- TalkNow - On-demand support from a behavioral health provider to talk about concerns like Anxiety, Depression, Substance Use, Stress, Life Transitions, Academic Challenges, Relationship Issues, and more.
- Scheduled Counseling - Meet with a licensed counselor. Appointment times are available within 7days, and you may receive up to 12 visits per year.
