Black History Month Luncheon with Special Guest: Michael Massenburg

We will celebrate the diversity of the African American community through food, dance and art! Local artist, Michael Massenburg with share with us passion for the arts and his latest solo show in VAMA gallery at LACC.

Mr. Massenburg was born in San Diego, raised in South Central Los Angeles, and now lives in Inglewood. Michael pursued his studies at California State University, Long Beach, and the Otis School of Art and Design. He began his career at the Watts Towers Arts Center, influenced by the Watts Rebellion, the Black Art Movement of the 1960s, and the 1992 Los Angeles Uprising.
