Mission Statement

The LACC Business Administration Department is committed to teaching students the skills needed to succeed in today’s local and global business and economic environment and to preparing them to meet the business challenges of the future.

Faculty

Our full and part-time faculty come from a wide range of industries and remain active in the business world to ensure they are current with the latest industry standards and trends. They have experience in small companies and major corporations and institutions including the World Bank, General Motors, Washington Mutual, and Bank of America. In addition to actual business experience, our faculty is trained in the art of teaching—breaking down difficult business concepts into more easily understood lessons. Earn a solid foundation in the industries of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing and Real Estate.

Courses

Our courses accommodate a variety of schedules. We offer courses on-campus and online. During Fall and Spring semesters, we offer 15-week, 8-week and 5-week sessions with various start dates throughout the term. (Please look closely at start and end dates when selecting a course.) In addition we offer 5-week Winter sessions, and 5-week and 8-week Summer sessions. Courses are offered in-person, hybrid, online (synchronous and asynchronous).
