About Our Finance & Banking Programs, and the Industries

The Finance and Banking program is designed for students who are interested in a career in banking, corporate finance, stocks and bonds, credits and collections, and savings and loan businesses.

Our Finance & Banking Program provides students with finance and banking skills enabling them to become employed in entry-level positions such as:

  • Financial analyst
  • New account clerk
  • Bank teller
  • Credit counselor
  • Loan clerk

Salary

The typical salary range for these positions is from approximately $27,000 to over $208,000 with an average salary of $76,000 per year with ample opportunities for advancement.

Special Note

In addition to meeting the general college admission requirements, students must show a satisfactory aptitude for financial services to be admitted to the Finance & Banking program. Aptitude is measured by appropriate tests and interviews administered by the College Counseling Department.
