About our Business Administration, and International Business Programs & the Industries

In the Business Administration areas, we offer three programs of study: the Associate of Science Degree for Transfer (AS-T), Associate of Arts Degree and a Certificate. All three paths are designed to give the student an extensive background in the principles and practices of the business world. The degree programs offer a more comprehensive curriculum than the certificate program and allow the student to transfer to a four-year university as a Junior.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunities exist in a variety of organizations, including insurance companies, manufacturing companies and government agencies with salaries ranging from $39,000 to over $208,000 with an average salary of $105,000. To prepare the student for the industry environment, our program focuses on the dynamics of international organizations, trade, language, socioeconomic and cultural forces, political and legal issues, and emerging global markets.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Business Administration program is designed for students seeking positions including administrative services managers, management analysts, operations managers, production managers, sales managers or other entry-level managers. Those currently employed in offices who are seeking promotions can also benefit from this program, as will those who are interested in continuing their education in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
